Yes and yes. Highly recommend these folks and this product. We’ve had our doggy door (a pet door) since our home was built in 2011, (yes it lasted that long, a testament to the quality) and after years of use, the flaps needed replacing. We spent months hunting for the right parts, and my husband finally found the original manufacturer—turns out Brian, the owner and designer door of Portal Pros Austin, was still directly connected to that company!
Brian, along with Jason and Chris, came out promptly and tackled the job with real joy, a genuine customer-focused approach, and clear pride in their work and the products. They efficiently replaced the flaps on our doggy door.
What truly stood out was how they went above and beyond: they replaced the inside carrier/tunnel which was eaten by our 2yr old golden doodle a year ago , so they replaced that too. Our pups now zip in and out happily, no more paw slipping.
The whole team was polite, professional, clean, and obviously passionate about pet doors. If you’re in the Austin/Georgetown area and need expert installation, repair, or replacement for any type of pet door (glass, walls, patio doors, etc.), Portal Pros Austin is the way to go. This thing is built like a tank. It handled our windy balcony without any movement and the seal is impressive. Highly recommend for insulated patio doors

Needed a connection from the house to the new catio. We ordered this one and it was perfect. Installation was a 10 minute project. I would recommend portal pros to anyone needing ingress , egress for their pets.

Installed this in our sliding patio and instantly noticed the insulation difference. No drafts and the locking mechanism feels solid. Our corgi took to it within a day. The pet door guidance was spot on.
Our golden retriever pushes through easily but the flap snaps shut behind him it works really well

Solid design, but the price was a little higher than I expected. If you value insulation and longevity, it’s worth it, plus they were able to get it installed within a week while my other quotes said 10-12 weeks in the Austin area
