We have just moved to OKC area from Las Vegas, NV and knew we needed a strong dog door to hold up to the weather here, and although my husband can do most anything, cutting a significant hole through brick, next to an electrical outlet, was NOT something I wanted him to do. When I found the Portal Pros website and sent a request for a quote.
Jason called a few days later and although the installation and door we chose was pricey, IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY. (Jason gave us a little bit of a discount.) The dog door was shipped to my house and holy cow, this dog door was the strongest, heaviest door I have EVER seen! (Security Boss - MaxSeal™ PRO Pet Door for Walls). So impressed.
The installer, David from Mr. Handyman in North OKC, was on-time, professional, and executed a PERFECT installation through the brick wall of my home. The dog door is perfectly aligned, centered, and I don't have a single negative thing to say. Look how perfectly centered the interior frame is! Baseboard -> door frame -> outlet! WOW! (See photos) He even cleaned up every scrap and dust particle, inside and out. Although David said he has installed MANY dog doors, he had never installed one of these. Even he was impressed with the weight and quality of this door. Out of 5 stars, David gets 10!
All-in-all, Jason's communication before, during, and after the install was appreciated and noted. I am grateful for his updates and check-ins.

I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Installing a dog door was much more affordable than replacing the entire door, and the finished result looks great. The whole process was seamless from start to finish—the installer was professional, worked quickly, and the installation was completed without any issues.
It was easy to order and schedule, once you understand how it works. First, you order the doggie door, based on the size of your dog and what type of door it is being installed in. Then the new doggie door is delivered by UPS. Once it arrives safely, installation can be scheduled. This is a quality door and reliable vendor. The end result was very professional and it works like a charm!
The door quality was excellent. Our dog is happy and making us nuts going in, and out, in and out! 🐾

Sturdy door with strong and easy to use security panel. A large, freewheeling outdoor cat adopted me a few months ago and he wasn't adjusting to life as an indoor cat. I got him this door and after showing him how it worked, he came in from outside through it the 1st day and was able to go in and out by the second. Happy cat.
I was beyond impressed with the level of customer service from Bryan. I had attempted contact with another company seeking assistance on where to place a dog door that made the most sense- but I was matched with a bot thatwas clearly giving me template answers. That was not so with Portal Pros. Bryan was incredibly helpful and attentive with a customized solution. Installation was excellent, and the install team was professional and great with our dogs.

I had a portal pros install a doggie door at my home. They had to go through a 10 inch wall through natural stone, which took a long time but did an excellent job. I would recommend Portal pros doggie doors to anyone. Brian the sales rep was very knowledgeable & was David the installer that did an excellent job.
