Rechargeable batteries
The 57.6 Ah pack runs the door cordless for weeks between charges. The 6.4 Ah pack is an emergency backup that keeps the door working up to 24 hours in a power outage.
Solar panel
An all metal, weatherproof 15W panel that charges the battery pack. Mounts on a wall or ground stake up to 15 feet from the door.
Concealed power kit
Power wired in from the wall or attic through the tunnel for a no plug, no cord look. Requires a professionally installed junction box, most times we handle on site.
Adjustable ramp
Powder coated steel ramp with a turf surface for senior pets or homes where the exterior sits higher or lower than the door.
Sliding glass door adapter

What is the Pawport Smart Pet Door?
Pawport is a motorized smart pet door made of steel and aircraft grade aluminum. It opens only when a pet wearing a registered Smart Pet Tag approaches, then closes and locks with dual steel deadbolts. You control it through the Pawport app on iOS or Android, or with Alexa, Google Home and Siri.

Do I need a professional installer?
A simple retrofit onto an existing pet door can be a DIY job. New openings are different. Cutting into walls, doors or glass, building the Tunnel & Frame System and wiring concealed power should be done by a trained installer to protect your home's security, weather seal and warranty.
Can Pawport be installed in glass?
Yes. Pawport's glass mount installs onto a professionally cut opening in a glass door or window as thin as 1/2 inch (12 mm). It can also mount onto a sliding glass door pet insert. In glass installs are one of Portal Pros' specialties.
What size Pawport do I need?
Medium fits pets up to about 100 lbs and 28" shoulder height, Large up to 150 lbs and 32", and Extra Large up to 200 lbs and 36". Measure your pet's shoulder height and add 2 to 3 inches, and size for your largest pet. We confirm sizing during your quote.
Does it work with more than one pet?
Yes. Each pet wears its own Smart Pet Tag, and you can set separate access schedules for each one in the app. Pets without a registered tag, and any wildlife, cannot open the door.
What happens if the power goes out?
Add the 6.4 Ah backup battery to keep the door running up to 24 hours during an outage, or go fully cordless with the 57.6 Ah battery, which lasts weeks between charges and can be paired with the solar panel.
How much does Pawport cost?

We have just moved to OKC area from Las Vegas, NV and knew we needed a strong dog door to hold up to the weather here, and although my husband can do most anything, cutting a significant hole through brick, next to an electrical outlet, was NOT something I wanted him to do. (See photos) He even cleaned up every scrap and dust particle, inside and out. Although David said he has installed MANY dog doors, he had never installed one of these. I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Installing a dog door was much more affordable than replacing the entire door, and the finished result looks great. The whole process was seamless from start to finish—the installer was professional, worked quickly, and the installation was completed without any issues.
It was easy to order and schedule, once you understand how it works. First, you order the doggie door, based on the size of your dog and what type of door it is being installed in. Then the new doggie door is delivered by UPS. Once it arrives safely, installation can be scheduled. This is a quality door and reliable vendor. The end result was very professional and it works like a charm!

Sturdy door with strong and easy to use security panel. A large, freewheeling outdoor cat adopted me a few months ago and he wasn't adjusting to life as an indoor cat. I got him this door and after showing him how it worked, he came in from outside through it the 1st day and was able to go in and out by the second. Happy cat.
