I bought this dual flap through the wall door for my cats. I wanted them to have in/out access and at the same time, keep the outside weather from coming inside the house. I installed it myself without any problems and am very happy with the outcome. The cats, though, had difficulty in learning to use it because of the two flaps and the magnets making a tight seal. Learning took a while and I had to prop the flaps up for a period of time, gradually lowering them as the cats got used to it. I ended up taking the magnets out, which lifted out of their tracks with a pliers. The cats did not like pushing so hard against the flaps in order to "break" the magnet. Now since they both use it readily without any difficulty, I will gradually start adding the magnets back. I am very happy with the door and the function. Just beware if you get for cats, it may take some patience. Perhaps a one flap door would have been easier for them. Or maybe I need smarter cats!

I was thinking about buying the stock door, but for the price difference and the time it would take to resize the cut I just decided to buy this custom. I'm very happy with the decision, and we LOVE the door!

Those stupid 2 flapper doors from Johnson were junk to begin with and then I find out the doors discontinued because of the shoddy design?! Good riddance, glad I found this door so I didn't have to alter my openings. Nice door too, great seal and looks really nice.

I had one of those junk 2-piece doors and was told no replacements exist! Lucky me.. I called Moore Pet Supplies and after a lengthy conversation ended up buying this whole new door custom made to replace that 2-piece. This thing fit right into the hole I had cut and I had that bugger installed in less than an hour! Very happy with the purchase and the easy installation to sat the least. Thanks again Moore Pet.

I looked all over for something that would fit my HUGE opening through my wall. Not only was the hole huge, but the wall was 13" deep. I was surprised to finally find something that would fit all dimensions and although I didn't want to spend this much money, it sure is well worth it!

I bought a door locally that was a close fit to my hole, but it felt like it was going to break after a day of using it!!! I returned that plastic piece of junk and decided to just buy a door to fit this hole exactly, that not only would seal better but also look nice. Save yourself some time and go custom in my opinion!

I had an old Petsmart or Petsafe door installed that didn't seal well. I replaced it with this custom Maxseal and boy am I mad I didn't do it sooner! Save yourself money in the long run and purchase a nice door to start off. Take it from my experience only install a pet door once so make it a good one like this Maxseal!

I needed a unique pet opening size for my fat dog. The door almost had to be as wide as it was tall! This was a perfect solution especially living in Wisconsin I needed a door that was well insulated. I bought and returned THREE doors before I found this product! I cut the hole in my wall for the other sizes that I just didn't like- they felt cheap and didn't look like they would seal well. I didn't want to make any more cuts so custom made was the way to go and not only did it sleeve perfectly into the opening but the insulation is immaculate!!!!!!!!!!! This is my last dog door purchase which makes me happy!!!!

I had a hole in my wall from a few years ago before my dog died. I just patched the hole up until I was ready for another dog. This door was custom made to fit that exact hole size I had and I can't believe how well it seals. Overall it has been a great experience with the dog door and this company! I was sick of my old pet door letting air in so I wanted to replace it. I would have had to make the rough cut larger or frame it in and didn't want to do that so I found this custom door. This door is light-years better than the cheapo plastic doors we have had in the past. It doesn't break so easily and we feel very secure with that heavy duty security door in place when we don't want our animals to use the door. Great door!

The dual flap design of the maxseal has made for a very energy efficient door. The magnets are very strong and the pilebrush is very thick and tough preventing any air or bugs getting in thus far. I would recommend this door to anyone.
